Church Links
Parish CE School is quite unique in that it has strong links to two local churches.
The orginal Parish School was situated nearer to the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, hence our school name. However when Bromley Town Centre was being redeveloped the school moved to its current place. St Mary's Church is just round the corner from the school and is now our local church. It is important for us to have links with both our history and our local community so clergy from both churches sit on our AAC council and are involved in the life of the school.
Every Wednesday, a member of the clergy will join us for family worship, a time when a class leads us in our worship focussing on one of our core values.
In the Autumn Term we visit St Mary's Church for Harvest and for The Christmas Journey, and St Peter and St Pauls for our Carol Service. We visit St Mary's Church again in the Summer Term for our Thanksgiving Service and our Y5 pupils visit St Peter and St Pauls for a Church Festival.
St Peter and St Paul's (Parish Church)
Whilst we have strong links to these churches, there is no requirement for pupils or parents to attend church as part of our admissions criteria. We are an inclusive community school with a Christian ethos at its heart.
