Current Vacancies at Parish CE Primary School

SENCO

We are looking to appoint an outstanding and experienced SENCO to join our friendly and dedicated team. The position would be full time, non-class based; enabling the successful candidate to work with staff to provide the very best outcomes for their pupils, ensure the curriculum is accessed appropriately and effectively and to provide some dedicated teaching as part of our nurture provision. We are able to offer the support of an assistant 1 day a per week to help with record keeping and paperwork. In addition, the Aquinas Trust has an SENCo who works across the Trust supporting the SENCos in each school.

HLTA

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed higher level teaching assistant to work across our school.

The successful candidate will:

  • be an outstanding HLTA who is committed to raising standards with high expectations for all pupils.

  • be a team player who has the capacity to work well with other colleagues, lead and involve themselves fully in the life of the school.

  • have experience of teaching small groups and whole classes

  • have knowledge of a range of interventions available.

  • be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with excellent organsiational skills.

  • be able to be flexible and adaptive while showing empathy and professionalism.

  • be an inspirational and enthusiastic person, with a sense of humour and the ability to engage all children in their learning.

  • be understanding and supportive of the school’s Christian ethos.

Grounds Maintenance Assistant

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable grounds assistant to help maintain and promote

our school site.

The successful candidate will:

  • be required to assist in the provision of day to day grounds maintenance.

  • be proactive in carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of different landscapes and buildings.

  • take pride in ensuring that the site is well managed and well maintained.

  • be flexible and responsive with the ability to work as part of an effective team.

  • be able to prioritise work and identify, diagnose and solve problems before they affect the operation of the school.

  • be understanding and supportive of the school’s Christian ethos.
