PUPIL PREMIUM 

The pupil premium is additional funding for schools to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers. 

In the 2022 to 2023 financial year, schools will receive £1385 for each pupil registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years and £2410 for any 'looked after' pupil.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

School meals are free to those in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 as Universal Infant Free School Meals. However you may be eligible to apply for funding called the Pupil Premium grant. By applying for Free School Meals (Pupil Premium) you could earn an extra £1385 for our school that will contribute to a range of interventions depending on your child's needs.  Pupil premium is funding to improve education outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in schools in England. Evidence shows that disadvantaged children generally face additional challenges in reaching their potential at school and often do not perform as well as other pupils. You can check your eligibility in the following way:
