Meet the FOPS Team (2016/17):

Chair – Helen Gardner

Helen Gardner 2

Mum to Jack in Yr4 and Annabelle in Yr2. I became involved with FOPS because I am passionate about providing the best possible experience for our children whilst they are taking their first steps in education. Parish has a great community and it is very important for all parties that this sense of community extends to extra curricular activities and includes as many parents as possible.

I have very much enjoyed implementing some new initiatives and really enjoy working with the very enthusiastic FOPS team.

If you have any new ideas, or would simply like to discuss how things work then please don’t hesitate to contact me – I’m generally around the school most days.  We would also love to hear from you if you would like to be more involved with the team.

Vice Chair - FAY TRIBE

Secretary – Jade CHAMBERS

Treasurer – EDWINA DAVIS

Edwina Davis

Mum to Molly in Year 5 and William in Year 2.

I'm a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with over 10 years experience working for a Big 4 accountancy firm. Having volunteered for FOPS on an ad hoc basis since joining the school, I felt now was the right time to step up to a more formal role where FOPS could benefit from my professional background

communications officer - hannah walder

hannah walder

I have a son currently in Y4 and twin boys in Y1.

As Communications Officer, I am responsible for communicating to you all on FOPS activities - from our Facebook page and bookbag flyers to posters and signs for events.

I also look after the FOPS content on our pages on the school's website and generally keeping you all updated with what is going on.

I am always open to feedback and new ideas so if you have any, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Parent’s Co-ordinator – GEMMA CRABTREE

Gemma Crabtree

Our family is in its third year at Parish, having moved back to Bromley after three sunny years in Australia. I have three children; Sophie in Year 4, Thomas in Year 2 and Hannah (aged 3).

I have taken on the role of Parent Co-ordinator and I will be organising and co-ordinating social events to get parents involved with the school and, most importantly, socialising with one another!

If you have any ideas about any social events or would like to get involved with organising a get together, please let me know. In the meantime, there will be some fun events to look forward to in the coming year!

kay metcalf

I have 2 boys - my eldest is currently in Y2 and my 2 year old will hopefully start Reception 2017.

As FOPS Children’s Co-ordinator, I’m responsible for the Easter Egg Hunt and the School Disco which is always great fun.

Ray Sievey

Dad to Max in Yr1.  Having lived in Bromley all of my life, I attended Parish Primary myself 30 odd years ago!  I think its important for parents to actively get involved with the school as the fundraising only benefits the school and in turn our children.  I will be co-ordinating the 2016 Summer Fair and will be striving to put on an event to match previous years.  If I can just find a way to guarantee the weather...

Shonagh D'Sylva

I am mum to Aaliyah in Y1 and Chaira who is 3 years old.

After the success of 2016, as Fireworks Co-ordinator I will be responsible for oganising and running the 2017 Fireworks event.

I am also a class rep for Gold.

francesca granata-tyler

I am mum to Alessandra in Y3.

Alongside Vanessa my role in FOPS is to coordinate the Christmas Fair with the main priority being fun for the kids.

vanessa chandler

I currently have a son in Y3 and a 3 year old daughter.  I have helped at several school events, but my main role is as joint Christmas Fair Coordinator. The Christmas Fair takes place on a Saturday afternoon in December. There are craft, games, food, a grand raffle and a performance by the school choir... plus a visit from Father Christmas!

uniform co-ordinator - anne-marie mcgillivray

I am mum to Beth in Y1 and James (nearly 3). I coordinate purchases of school uniform made through the PTA system, as well as being a class rep.

I wanted to make a contribution to FOPS as I believe the work they do is of great benefit to all our children at the school.
