Music plays an important role in the life of Parish. It is often taught as part of our International Primary Curriculum (IPC) topics. All children in year 3 learn to play the recorder. In addition, we offer a number of extra curricular music activities, including:

  • Year 2 Choir
  • Junior Choir
  • Orchestra
  • Year 6 Chamber Choir

At Parish, children have the opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument. Currently, children can learn to play the piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, French horn, euphonium, violin, viola, cello and drums. Lessons are provided by peripatetic music teachers from Bromley Youth Music Trust (BYMT).
